BRIXINGTON Primary School pupils bid a fond farewell to mealtime assistant Gill Crowther, who retired at the end of term after 23 years.
The school council presented Gill with a bird bath and a bouquet of flowers to thank her for her care and dedication over the years.
Past and present colleagues were invited to the school assembly to join in the celebrations.
Gill Laws, school vice chair of governors, spoke warmly about the mealtime assistant's work and the changes she had seen at school over the years.
