EXMOUTH community college students rocked their way through enthusiastic dance moves at the Sidmouth Folk Festival.

The folk-loving crowds were treated to a demonstration of energy, skill and commitment by Exmouth Community College A-level dance students who showcased a piece especially choreographed for the event.

The dancers were part of an exciting new event at the folk festival, Dance on the Move, organised by East Devon District Council's (EDDC) arts team and dance, with a day of free dancing and beat boxing.

Ishbel Ramsay, EDDC's arts development officer, said: "It was a wonderful day with a lovely relaxed atmosphere; I could not believe how many people just got up and joined in.

"No one could fail to be impressed by the outstanding demonstrations - the energy and skill levels shown were astounding.

"The culture of our young people is very important and this was a perfect example of their own unique culture in action.
