A couple helped by Exmouth’s Quiet Mind Centre have expressed their thanks by holding a coffee morning to benefit others.
Heather Shepherd and Alan Gibson’s recent event raised funds to help the centre furnish its new client rooms.
Heather and Alan, who are engaged and hope to move in together, said the Quiet Mind Centre, which provides subsidised counselling for people on low incomes, had proved a lifeline.
Heather said the counselling the couple received had made a ‘massive difference’ to their relationship. She said they were now looking forward to getting married next year, as a result.
