EXMOUTH coastguards were on Tuesday evening called to the cockle sand area of the River Exe following reports a man was stuck in mud up to his waste.
EXMOUTH coastguards were on Tuesday evening called to the cockle sand area of the River Exe following reports a man was stuck in mud up to his waste.
Devon and Cornwall police, who received the emergency call, launched the force helicopter.
The units were stood down after it was found the man was duck hunting and not in any difficulty.
