AN Exmouth church congregation is celebrating a new leader after an 18-month break without a minister.
Glenorchy Church, in Exeter Road, had been without a minister since Reverend Craig Bowman took up another post in London more than a year ago.
On Saturday a packed church welcomed their new minister - the Reverend Robert Jennings, who was previously running a church in Torquay.
Exmouth's mayor Daryl Nicholas, together with ministers from the South Western Synod, representatives from local churches, people from Glenorchy Church and Mr Jennings' former congregation gathered in a service of induction, encouragement and welcome.
