Volunteers from a charity card shop in Exmouth are gearing up to spread a bit of early Christmas cheer to festive shoppers.

The Cards for Good Causes seasonal shop opened in Tower Street last month, offering an array of festive cards and gift ideas.

The outlet sells cards in support of national and local charities.

Frances Guy, regional organiser, is urging people to give the shop a try. She said: “Our seasonal shops are a great way to prepare for Christmas, while at the same time providing an important source of funding for charities.

“In keeping with the Christmas spirit, sending charity seasonal cards allows you to give twice - once to friends and family and again to worthwhile causes of your choice.”

Cards for Good Causes is open from Monday to Saturday, 10am - 4pm, until December 15.
