An Exmouth bank has raised vital funds for a charity which supports suicide-bereaved families.

Staff from Nationwide presented a cheque for £385 to Exmouth-based Pete’s Dragons.

Rachel Burrow, of Nationwide, said: “As an organisation, the Nationwide encourages their staff to undertake fundraising and it is extremely important for the Nationwide that this benefits, supports and looks after charities that are local to the particular branch.

“Pete’s Dragons was chosen specifically on this occasion as the local charity as I have personal knowledge of a family that have been helped a lot by them.”
