THE OWNER of an Exmouth taxi firm treated a number of his customers to a festive meal - proving he believes Christmas truly is the season of goodwill.
AJ Hill, of AJ Taxis, in Dukes Crescent, took 60 of his customers out to the Clinton Arms last week with police officers serving the meals.
The 53-year-old, who has run the cab firm since 1992, said: "Everybody enjoyed themselves. We had a lovely time."
AJ has been taking the customers for a meal for around 10 years. "It started as a gesture to put something nice back into the community.
"Officers were there serving meals - all part of policing in the community. For them to be there, was good for our customers as a way to get to know the officers.
