An Exmouth business is celebrating success in a top regional award.

Devon Heating Services was recently announced as the South West’s Top Heating Installer of the Year 2016. The company now competes for the national trophy.

Managing director Matt Bird was delighted to win the award.

“We are honoured to have won,” he said. “It means a lot to me and, as a company, it’s great to see that all the hard work that we have done as a team has been noticed.

“It has given us even more drive to carry on delivering the workmanship and customer service that we have thrived off since establishment in 2014.

“It’s extremely satisfying knowing that we are delivering a high level of customer service as we steer the business into an exciting future.”

The business impressed the judges with examples of professionalism, happy customers and instances of going above and beyond the call of duty.

One of the judges, Chris Ingram, said: “The calibre of entries in the first year of the awards scheme has been exceptional. We already know that the industry is filled with tradesmen and women who work relentlessly.

“Matt’s entry simply wowed us and showed an edge compared to other entries from the region.”

All regional winners will now be put forward to compete for the title of UK Heating Installer of the Year, which will be announced at Installer Live in May following an online public vote.
