An Exmouth businessman has put his company in the running for a £50,000 prize.
Nick Flynn, of Barnfield Avenue, Littleham, runs OxiAqua, a company which recycles nutrients from farmyard slurry.
The nutrients can then be reused on the farm, helping the environment and saving money.
The company is one of three companies in the South West competing in the Take One Small Step competition, which will be decided by a public vote.
Nick said: “Pollution, food scarcity and hunger are major concerns, and winning £50,000 to invest into the business will enable us to take that vital next step towards success.”
