Two Exmouth businesses are giving something back to the community by sponsoring football kits at Beacon Primary School.
Matthew and India Haywood, from Franklins, based on The Strand, spearheaded their enterprise, agreeing to becoming one of the sponsors.
Franklins’ co-owner Jacquie Haywood said she hoped the children enjoyed their new kit.
“This is an opportunity for us, as a business, to say thank-you to our customers,” she said. “Being part of the community in Exmouth is very important to us.
“Our son Matthew and daughter-in-law India did all of the negotiating with the school.”
Bikelands, which is also based on The Strand, has also agreed to sponsor one of the new kits.
Owner Rebecca Haywood said her ‘football mad’ son Mac convinced her to get involved.
