Exmouth Amateur Boxing Club has given care home residents an early Christmas present after donating £100 towards a festive outing.

South Garth care home residents can look forward to their annual Christmas trip to Otter Nurseries Garden Centre.

Care manager Theresa Davis welcomed the donation, but hopes to raise more for further outings.

She said: “The more money we raise the more outings residents can have. Any donations are always gratefully received.

“The residents have a couple of outings a year, but always look forward to the Christmas one.”

To donate to the home, contact Theresa on 01395 265422.
