Author Christopher Long was signing copies of his latest book at an event in WH Smith at the weekend.
Mr Long said sales of the book have been going well, with many readers saying they had enjoyed the trip down memory lane.
He said: “Exmouth Through Time is my first solo venture. It shows comparisons of the most pivotal changes of the town in colourful before and after images.
“I have previously co-written three local reference books with Maurice Southwell, Sally Stocker and Elizabeth Gardner: Withycombe Raleigh of Yesteryear Parts 1 and 2; and Images of England - Exmouth Postcards.
“I pleased with how the book new book has been received.”
Exmouth Through Time is available to buy from the following Exmouth outlets: W H Smith, Sleemans Outfitters, Best Books, The Chandlery, The Model Railway and Littleham Post Office.
