EXMOUTH and Topsham libraries are among the county's libraries offering an exciting programme of events for everyone to enjoy over the upcoming autumn half-term holidays.

The series of fun activities has been set up to keep children and families across the county entertained during the week long break. Exmouth library will on Monday October 26, from 10am until 10.30am, hold a children's halloween story time session.

Youngsters are invited to dress as wizards and witches, with a prize going to the most imaginative costume.

The picture book story event includes witches, wizards and ghosties, and is suitable for children aged three to six years old.

This event is free and there is no need to book.

An Exe Estuary walk, talk and draw is being held in Topsham from 10.30am on Tuesday October 27.

The stroll through Topsham learning about wildlife conservation

of the Exe Estuary is a free event.

During the walk there will be time to draw some of the scenes at the RSPB bowling green marshes.

Booking is essential as spaces are limited.

Councillor Stuart Barker, cabinet member for adult and community services, said: "Libraries across Devon have some fantastic events lined up over the half term week, there really is something for everyone to enjoy.

"Our libraries are a great resource within communities, providing a lot more than just books and CDs, so come along and find out what your local library has got to offer."
