Exmouth and Topsham fire crews tackle city roof fire

EXMOUTH firefighters took the incident command vehicle to Exeter on Monday night when a roof caught fire on a city home.

EXMOUTH firefighters took the incident command vehicle to Exeter on Monday night when a roof caught fire on a city home.

Exmouth, Topsham, Exeter and Crediton fire crews were called to St Andrews Road, in Exwick, shortly after 8pm and spent most of the night fighting the fire.

The first floor and roof of the home was severely damaged by the blaze.
