A GROUP of kind-hearted individuals have been busy packing parcels full of goodies to send to the troops in Afghanistan.
Hazel Hutchings, of Leeward Court, Exmouth, Jean Gregory, from Budleigh Salterton, and a team of other visitors to A La Ronde, have been packing the parcels.
To mark Valentines Day, special heart-shaped biscuits have been made to send out as an extra special, romantically-themed surprise.
Eighty-year-old Hazel, whose son, Paul, used to be in the Royal Marines where he worked as a doctor, said: “It is a fabulous cause. I’ve really enjoyed putting the parcels together.”
