Exeter's Royal Albert Memorial Museum offers 40 free summer activities for youngsters

Monday, July 21: EXETER'S Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) is holding a host of free family activities from 24 July to 29 August to entertain youngsters over the summer holiday period.
EXETER'S Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) is holding a host of free family activities from 24 July to 29 August to entertain youngsters over the summer holiday period.
Some 40 events have been planned and will be held at venues in the city including RAMM in the library, St Nicholas Priory, the Chapter House at Exeter Cathedral and Exeter's Underground Passages.
RAMM is also taking its special activity marquee to all council play days and Fun4Free events in Exeter's parks and open spaces.
Free RAMM Family Day at the Priory: Tudor Games
Thursday July 24, 10.30am to12.30pm and 1.30 to 3.30pm

Meet the Hurst household at work in 1602 as recreated by the History Re-enactment Workshop. Household activities are based on the real family who lived here at the time. You will find Nicholas Hurst drafting his will while his family makes medicines and food in the kitchen and discuss local news and events. Make sure you're here for 2pm when the family sit down to eat their lunch cooked during the morning in the Priory's kitchen.
