EXHIBITION Fields Skate Park is to reopen with an extensive ramp system.

The park will open on Monday, November 10, and will accommodate not only skateboarders but also roller-bladers and BMX riders.

It is Exeter's second largest skate facility.

All the ramps at the skate park are less than a year old and are expected to last eight to 10 years.

Tim Ruck, owner of the Boarding House Skate Shop in Exeter, designed and installed the new system, following consultation with local skateboarders, roller bladers and BMX riders.

Cllr Kevin Mitchell, Lead Councillor for Environment and Leisure, said: "The new Skate Park at Exhibition Fields provides an exciting and challenging facility to be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities.
