A camera crew was in Budleigh Salterton, Otterton and Ladram Bay on Tuesday to film of an episode of Escape to the Country.
The BBC2 programme, produced by Talkback Thames, helps prospective buyers find their dream home in the country.
Presenter Jules Hudson showed the couple around three homes in the Budleigh area.
He was also filmed visiting National Trust property A la Ronde, in Exmouth.
A spokeswoman from Talkback Thames said the programme was likely to be aired in the autumn or early 2011.
