This year the Post Office has issued Christmas stamps depicting the Ugly Sisters from the Cinderella pantomime.They have, apparently, also printed "a small stock" of Nativity stamps, but they have to be specifically requested. This is yet another instance of our tradition being eroded, just in case it offends those who do not recognise Christmas as a festival celebrating the birth of Christ.Christians, awake - as the carol exhorts us!
