ACTIVE young pupils from St Peter s School in Lympstone took part in a successful sports day. More than 100 pupils from years one to four were involved. Ten activities were held as part of the day. Jane Cooke, PE teacher and organiser of the event, said:

More than 100 pupils from years one to four were involved. Ten activities were held as part of the day.
Jane Cooke, PE teacher and organiser of the event, said: "Some were fun activities like the fireman's race leading up to more serious athletics activities.
"Stickers were given out to those who finished in first, second and third places."
A number of pupils were chosen to participate in an athletics day at Blundell's school off the back of how they performed at the sports day.
