PLANS for an 11-home development in Littleham have been backed by town councillors, despite concerns from a local campaign group.
On Monday town planners backed a development by Westhaven Homes Ltd for 11 dwellings on land to the rear of Mundy's Farm, in West Down Lane.
The site already had permission, said Cllr sandy Sutton, but the developers were seeking renewal and she had no problem with it.
Ian Cann, secretary of the Exmouth Society said: "We feel that a development of 11 units is too many for this site. The number could be reduced in order to give a better environment for those who live there."
