A BUDLEIGH Salterton funeral director has hatched an egg-traordinary appeal in and effort to bring cheer to local youngsters this Easter.
Staff from Palmers Funeral service have been collecting chocolate eggs in the run up to Easter, which will be given to the Hospiscare charity for distribution.
Claire Harding from Palmers said: "As part of the local community we wanted to mark Easter by making it a really special occasion for local children.
"We're very grateful to Co-op Food, Spar, Harding's, The Card Shop Too and members of the local community who have kindly donated eggs towards this worthy cause.
