X FACTOR watch out!

Those were the ambitious words used by the manager of Brixington Pre-school as she gave her judgement on the talented performances displayed by children at a musical workshop held last week.

Lorraine Dorling said the workshop was an opportunity for parents to work with their children to see how the youngsters learn through play activities.

She added: “It also gives the parents an idea of what we do here.

“Everybody had a wonderful time – they all thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait for the next one.

“We have done a number of other workshops, for instance, one on an African theme. The children are all very confident and good singers.”

Brixington Pre-School, based at Knappe Cross Community Centre, is managed by the Pre-school Learning Alliance. It is open between Monday and Thursday, 9.15am until 1pm, and all day on Fridays.
