Pupils at Marpool Primary School have enjoyed further gymnastic success at the start of their gym season.
The school sent teams of three girls and three boys to the South West finals of the Milano team competition at the weekend.
The boys finished first, qualifying for the national finals, and the girls finished third, just missing out on the nationals, but the best ever performance by a Marpool girls’ team.
Headteacher Rachel Pattison said she felt with continuing hard work the boys would be able to hold their own at the nationals, and paid tribute to volunteer coaches Kev and Josh Brown.
