A toddler group in Woodbury Salterton has restarted to help some of the village’s new arrivals.
The group, run by the Little Acorn Preschool, closed last year because of a lack of demand, but since then a new housing development has been built at Sages Lea, with many of the homes occupied by young families.
As a result, Little Acorn decided to restart the toddler group.
Group leader Tracy Earle said: “It’s a chance for parents to get to know each other. They’re all from different areas, and their children can have a play, and they can have a chat with other parents.”
The group is at the village hall on Thursdays between 10am and noon.
