Withycombe Raleigh Playgroup is celebrating after being praised by Ofsted inspectors.
The inspectors rated the playgroup, which is based at Withycombe Raleigh Parish Church Hall, as Good.
Their report said: “Overall, the quality of the provision is good. The children are happy, confident and have access to a good range of resources.”
Reacting to the report, playgroup supervisor Mary Crewdson said: “We are delighted, and I am sure that the playgroup will go from strength to strength.”
The playgroup’s committee chairperson Amanda Clarke said: “This report reflects the dedication and commitment of the wonderful staff.”
The playgroup currently has spaces available on Monday and Friday afternoons and for the Tuesday afternoon toddler group.

Places will soon be available for the playgroup’s summer holiday club, and more regular places will be free in September.
