Budding Andy Murrays from Exmouth Community College are being given the chance to hone their skills with the launch of a new tennis academy.
The academy, a joint venture between the college and LED Leisure’s Exmouth Tennis and Fitness Centre, offers a 10-hours-per-week programme for talented youngsters to develop all aspects of their game, with high-quality, professional coaching provided by the tennis centre staff, alongside academic mentoring.
College head of PE Stuart Lowe said: “We are able to offer a unique opportunity for talented tennis players to further develop the talents they have.”
