Pupils from Drake’s Primary School have enjoyed a visit to Parliament to see their design as part of a national creative project.
The school submitted a design for the 2015 Parliament Flags Project.
Subsequently, the school’s flag, designed by 12 year six children, was chosen to represent Devon, and be flown in Parliament Square alongside other flags from across the country.
With the flag now in place, the pupils travelled to London to meet East Devon MP Hugo Swire at his office in Whitehall, see their flag flying, and also have a tour of Parliament and Downing Street.
