An Exmouth Nursery is celebrating after the education watchdog gave it top marks following a recent inspection.
ABC Nursery, based in Exeter Road, has been graded good, improving in leaps and bounds over the past year.
In 2014, Ofsted inspectors pointed out a few areas that needed some improvement. But, in their recent inspection, they upgraded their assessment.
They ranked teaching and leadership as ‘good’ and praised the progress children had made in their learning.
Inspector Susan Mann said: “In the discoverers’ room, babies thrive in a homely, calm environment.
“Staff enthusiasm encourages children to have lots of fun as they learn.
“Many children clearly feel close to their key persons, cuddling in with them as they read a story.”
