Supermarket giant Waitrose have donated �360 to Sidmouth Cricket Club’s colts team.
The money came from the community matters scheme.
Each month, Waitrose branches around the country distributes �1,000 between three local project, through the initiative.
And the cash, presented to the Sidmouth CC, will go towards a new training kit for the colts.
The cheque was handed over by Waitrose’s Margaret Edward-Hughes and accepted by colts co-ordinator Charlie Dibble and coaches Nick Gingell, Matt Cooke, Greg Chaplin and Anthony Griffiths.
