Healthy eating at Brixington Primary School has been given a boost thanks to the introduction of a bistro.
The school said the changes means the youngsters are being offered greater freedom and flexibility when it comes to the meals being served.
A spokesman for the school said: “Brixington Primary School has risen to the challenge and now provides its own in-house school catering facility.
“Brixington Bistro, as it is named following a competition amongst the children at school, provides a wide and varied menu, while maintaining the balance of food nutritional standards that are expected in promoting healthy eating within the school environment.”
