Brixington Primary School pupils stepped back in time to learn what life was like during the Second World War. The youngsters were evacuated in a bid to experience the lives of wartime children.
The youngsters dressed as evacuees and made labels and gas mask boxes before boarding a train for an unknown destination in an attempt to gain an insight into what life was like for wartime children.
The pupils arrived at Lympstone Primary School, where a host of activities were recreated for youngsters to recreate the experiences of evacuees 71 years ago.
The pupils also learned through a visit to Exmouth Museum how the town was affected during the war.
