Pupils from Exmouth Community College have attended Holocaust Memorial day ceremonies in Exeter.
As part of the event, held at the Exeter Guildhall, the year eight pupils gave a presentation on causes of and responses to genocide, including dramatic sketches, poetry, music and artwork.
During the day, the group also met one of the youngest survivors of the Holocaust, Eva Clarke. Seeing the group wearing yellow stars as part of their presentation, she showed them a real example of the yellow stars which Jews were forced to wear.
The pupils said they found it a memorable and moving occasion.
