It might be the school holidays, but Exmouth Community College’s American footballers are continuing their trailblazing quest to spread the game.

The Raptors were invited to Paignton, along with four other teams from across Devon and Cornwall, to take part in an exhibition day as part of Paignton Regatta.

The day, jointly organised by the Raptors, saw a series of exhibition games played, both of full-contact football, and non-contact flag football.

Teacher and Raptors coach Rob Rooksby said: “It was a terrific day and an invaluable learning experience. We are very grateful to Paignton Regatta for this unusual opportunity and also to the British American Football Association for giving us permission and supporting this unprecedented day as a special one-off event.”
