Bubbly Hannah Bolwell is the toast of her school after making a sensational debut on the rugby field.
Ten-year-old Hannah from Budleigh Salterton notched a hat-trick of tries as she became the first girl to don a rugby shirt in competitive action for the 128-year-old Lympstone Preparatory School.
“The boys in her class are really proud of her,|” said teacher Rosie Bewley.
Games Master Chris Ball added: “She made a real impact playing on the wing.”
St Peter’s beat Exeter School 26-7, and Hannah, is now plotting with her team-mates the downfall of Topsham this Sunday.
