Bicton College has opened a new training facility to teach the installation of biomass boilers.
The facility, at Bicton Earth, is now running a pilot course, with monthly courses from September.
Head of Bicton Earth Graham Waddell said: “As opportunities for qualified biomass installers increase, we’re delighted to be in a position to offer training for the installation of this increasingly popular choice of heating alternative.”
Equipment for the facility was provided by Dunster Biomass Heating, Bio Nordic, Poujoulat, and Gerberit, with installation by Complete Biomass Ltd and plumbing equipment from Plumbase.
