Children at Marpool Primary School have picked up some new books to read, while helping raise money for the school’s Parent and Teacher Association.
The Marpool School Association (MSA) held a book bring and buy sale, which gave pupils the chance to donate books at the start of the school day, then, once the stalls had been set up, go and buy from the selection available.
Some of the school’s year five pupils manned the stalls, and the event raised £105.02.
MSA chairman Claire Foster said: “This was another successful book bring and buy sale, which not only raises valuable funds for our school but also encourages children to read books they have chosen for themselves.”
