There was family fun in the sun at the weekend to raise money for St Peter’s Primary School.
The school held its annual Summer Fayre, giving visitors a chance to explore a host of games, stalls and activities.
Among the main highlights for the pupils was the chance to give headteacher Steve Hitchcock a soaking, as he took a turn in the stocks.
There was also a gymnastic display, and dance and ukulele performances, by the school’s children, and new craft and nature activities in the school’s nature garden.
The event raised around £4,000. It was organised by the St Peter’s School Association, which said it would like to thank all its sponsors for their support.
