Healthy eating has paid off for Littleham Primary School as it has been recognised for its hard work.

Staff and pupils at Littleham Primary School are celebrating after being awarded the silver award from Food for Life, a programme that encourages healthy and sustainable food.

The head of learning at Littleham Primary School, Sarah Padbury, said: “The children have loved visiting local farms, growing their own food, tasting new things and sharing their skills with others.

“Food for Life doesn’t promise to provide a quick fix, but instead is about encouraging lasting and sustainable change to the way we all think about food.

“Gaining the silver award has just given the children encouragement to keep on going.”
