Easter goody bags have been given to staff at Marpool Primary School as a thank you from grateful parents.
During lockdown, teachers from the school hand delivered 300 superhero teddy bears to all the children who were home schooling.
In response, the parents decided to put together gift bags for the teachers filled with items donated by mums, dads and grandparents as well Exmouth businesses.
A total of 100 bags, which also included poems written by the parents, were delivered to the school, to the surprise of staff.
Each bag included an Easter egg, hot chocolate, marshmallow cones,crème eggs, hand-knitted Team Marpool hearts, pens, balloons and chocolate lollies.
The parents also raised £108 for the Marpool School Association.
Parent Nik McLeod said: “We want to say a massive thank you to all parents, grandparents and the local businesses listed for supporting such a great cause.”
