East Devon weather warning issued as high winds and heavy rain expected

The MET Office has issued a yellow severe weather warning for East Devon as the region braces itself for up to 20 millimetres of rain in three hours and 60 miles per hour winds on Tuesday (February 13).
East Devon could be hit with 60 mile-per-hour winds tomorrow (Tuesday, February 13) according to weather experts.
The MET Office has issued a yellow severe weather warning for rain and wind for area between midnight tonight and 10am tomorrow morning.
According to the weather experts, people should be braced for delays to road and rail transport in the area. It is also suggested that high-sided vehicles on exposed routes could be affected.
A MET Office chief forecaster has warned there could be 20 millimetres of rain within two or three hours – enough to cause flooding on some roads.
The forecaster has also warned that gusts of up to 60 miles per hour are expected and could reach 70 miles per hour in exposed coasts.
