SCHOOLS in East Devon are invited to apply for a national scheme which focuses on the arts. The Artsmark scheme is an Arts council England initiative, which aims to encourage schools to consider the opportunities they offer in art, dance, drama and music.

The Artsmark scheme is an Arts council England initiative, which aims to encourage schools to consider the opportunities they offer in art, dance, drama and music.
Now entering its 10th year, the initiative plays a key role in schools' curriculum activities.
The scheme is supported by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport; the Department for Children, Schools and Families; Ofsted and the Qualifications and Crurriculum Authority.
