East Devon Golf Club catwalk raises charity cash

A fashion show held by the women members of East Devon Golf Club raised cash for Help 4 Heroes, ShelterBox and the captain’s charity.

The women of the East Devon Golf Club recently raised more than 1,200 for a trio of charities after they strutted their stuff on the catwalk.

The cash, raised through a raffle held on the night, will be split between the club captain’s charities, Help 4 Heroes and ShelterBox.

More than 150 women watched the fashion show as members of the golf club modelled the new spring-summer 2011 collections from the East Devon Golf Club pro shop and Angie’s, of Budleigh Salterton.

The EDGC pro shop and Angie’s would like to thank everyone involved for their hard work, and all who donated raffles prizes for the evening.
