Do you have what it takes to evade capture by expert trackers for 25 days?

Could you live off the grid for weeks and evade capture by expert trackers for a chance to win a share of £100,000?

The search is on for new contestants for Channel 4’s fifth series of Hunted and the show’s production company, Shine, is looking for fugitives from East Devon.

Contestants, known in the programme as fugitives, have to evade capture by expert trackers for 25 days.

The team of ‘hunters’ usually includes former police detectives, intelligence officers and cyber-security specialists.

A celebrity version of the series was won by Devon MP and army veteran Johnny Mercer last year.

The fourth series of the show is being aired on Channel 4 at the moment and already two of the 12 contestants have been captured.

A spokesman for Shine said: “Have you ever wondered if you’ve got what it takes to

disappear and go on the run, testing your wits to evade capture from some of the best hunters on the planet?

“We’re looking for aspiring ‘fugitives’ of all ages, men and women, to take part and do whatever it takes to disappear in 21st century Britain. Perhaps you fancy your chances by going it alone, or maybe you’d like to escape with your family, friends or colleagues.”

A prize of £100,000 will be shared equally between the fugitives who successfully evade capture.

To apply go to www.huntedapplications.com, the closing date is Monday, February 11.
