Exmouth: Mountlands and Ladram Bay in Visit Devon awards nomination

Exmouth language school Mountlands and Ladram Bay Holiday Park in Otterton have been nominated for awards in the Visit Devon tourism awards 2017.

An Exmouth language school has been chosen for the finals of a regional tourism award.

Mountlands Language School has been nominated in the International Visitor Experience of the Year category in the Devon Tourism of the Year awards.

Ladram Bay Holiday Park, in Otterton, was also nominated in the Holiday Park of the Year category.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in Plymouth on Thursday, November 23.

If successful, Mountlands and Ladram Bay would be fast-tracked into the South West Tourism Excellence Awards in February next year.

This year saw a record of 205 entries and an increase to 25 categories in the competition which is now in its eighth year following its launch in 2010.

Some 76 finalists were selected all of which will be in suspense until November 23 when they will learn whether they have won Gold, Silver, Bronze or special awards.
