IF you live locally to Bicton College, have a spare room, and would like to earn some extra cash a record number of students enrolling for this year's courses has prompted an appeal for term-time accommodation.
The college said student course acceptance numbers have risen for both further and higher education courses - with horticulture students up by 161 per cent on last year, countryside and environment by 100 per cent and agriculture by 62 per cent.
On-site accommodation at the college is full and local homeowners and landlords are being encouraged to get in touch if they have a room available to let during term-time.
