East Budleigh In Bloom staged its first open gardens event on Saturday after the weather forced a postponement the previous weekend.
Visitors made a £5 donation to view the carefully tended lawns and beds at eight different properties followed by tea and cakes at the village hall.
And, thankfully, this time the weather was a little more kind!
Among the gardens on view were those at Sarnia in the centre of the village, Northbank in Hayes Lane, The Gables in Priory Close and Southernhay in Vicarage Road.
East Budleigh In Bloom is dedicated to keeping the village in its historical role as both a picturesque and charming place to live.
Covid restrictions have led to the cancellation of many planned events in recent months which have depleted the organisation's funds and limited the number of displays members create.
The open gardens event was a new innovation staged with the aim of enhancing the whole village.
