East Budleigh holds first PACT meeting
EAST Budleigh held its first Partners and Communities Together (PACT) meeting at the end of last month, giving residents the chance to highlight any issues or concerns about the area.
EAST Budleigh held its first Partners and Communities Together (PACT) meeting at the end of last month, giving residents the chance to highlight any issues or concerns about the area.
The village's police community support officer Malcolm Maguire and councillor Molly Pratt attended the meeting.
They heard how dog fouling in the recreation ground and speeding vehicles along the main road into the village concerned villagers.
The meeting was also told about access issue at Middletown Lane, which could affect emergency or delivery vehicles.

Neighbourhood beat manager PC David Lea said anyone with further issues or concerns should contact PCSO Maguire.
"Additional people within the village have expressed a desire to be involved in the future but it has been agreed to implement this after the summer season," said PC Lea.
