DISPLAY boards placed on a pavement outside an East Budleigh pub have been allowed to stay by the county council because the land is privately-owned.
The Rolle Arms, on the main road, is continuing to advertise its services on boards set outside the pub because the land is owned by the pub.
Devon County Council's officer recently told East Budleigh businesses to remove any display boards from pavements or face a fine.
